"One-Line idea"
Intervention on the former church of San Michele, inox, 30 meter mark, Fidenza, 1978

I left the environment as I had found it; the signs of aging highlighted by decades of outdoor exposure, it had been transformed into a beautiful interior space for birds and the only existential presence was the uniform layer of organic sediment they had generated. I initially designed a 30 meter line to lie inert on the floor of the nave grazing the space above, to then project itself into it with vibrations and swerves, to rest briefly, and then proceed to an adjoining semicircular space where it rises slightly upon itself at the corners and on the curved wall to take up crossing it obliquely into the space outside.
